Speech is a very sophisticated autonomous and unconscious activity. Speech in matured man in a learned habitual neuromuscular pattern which makes use of anatomical structures designed primarily for respiration and deglutition. Because oro-dental morphological features also may influence an individual speech, the dentist should, therefore, recognize the possible role of prosthetic treatment on speech activity.

Dr. Mohammad Kashif Noorani passed his BDS in Bapuji Dental College and Hospital, Davangere Karnataka and passed his MDS in Dept of Prosthodontics from HKE's S. Nijalinagappa Institute of Dental Sciences and Research in 2018. Now he is working as senior lecturer in Dept of Prosthodontics, Dr. B.R. Ambedker Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital.
