Photooxygenation Reactions of Some Cyclohexenone Derivatives

This thesis is concerned in principle with the photooxygenation reaction of some 2-cyclohexenone-6-carboxylate derivatives: 3,5-diphenyl, 3-(4-methoxyphenyl)-5-phenyl, -(4-chlorophenyl)-5-phenyl (6), 3-Methyl-5-phenyl , 3-styryl-5-phenyl, 3-phenyl-5- styryl. In addition to, Photo-binding of cyclohexenone derivative with 6-amino-1,3-dimethyluracil and photodegradation of ATP using the photooxygenated product formed.

Mona Elsayed Ibrahim: was born in Matria, Egypt. She graduated from Mansoura University where she carried out her M.Sc. and PhD. studies under the supervision of Professor H. H. Zoorob and Professor W. S. Hamama. She was awarded the M.Sc. and PhD. in chemistry from faculty of science, Mansoura University in 2003 and and 2010, respectively.
