Details

Indian mustard (2n=4x=36) is a most important oil seed crop grown in China, Pakistan & India and also grown in Europe, Canada and USSR. Improvement in photosynthetic efficiency has played a major role in the increases in the productivity further increase in yield potential will rely in large part on improved photosynthesis. Because photosynthesis is natural processes occurring in every green plant which is the basis of growth and grain production. The present work photosynthetic efficiency in Indian mustard were studded in wild and cultivated variety of mustard and photosynthetic rate of hybrids with their respective parents were also compare.
