Physical Layer Of LTE

This book discusses in length about LTE, which is the fourth generation standard technology and discusses the theory about its implementation and modelling on the physical layer in MATLAB and XILINX. To meet the growing demands of high speed access LTE was introduced as it has the flexibility to co-exist with earlier networks, have scalable bandwidths and provide data rates of various values depending on the architecture of the system. Work on LTE began at 3GPP in 2004 and since then have seen immense growth amongst its users.
