The existence of assistance protocols can reduce morbidity and mortality within sectors, helping professionals who have little or no expertise in the area. To qualify the professional newly arrived to the new routines, assist in the horizontality of assistance and reveal the results of the care process focusing on patient safety and quality of services provided. The importance of assistance protocols in the work environment is known, since many times the professionals come without much practical knowledge, and it is up to the management to provide the collaborators this north, this tool, seeking to promote a better horizontality of this assistance without harming the patients in the hospital environment.
