Phytotherapy, with Brazilian Herbal Medicines

This work was based on research into the databases of the USP School of Medicine and the USP School of Psychology, as well as a review of classes already taught in the Doctorate in Psychoanalysis. The aim was to develop material to help patients treated at university outpatient clinics and at my Physiotherapy and Psychoanalysis Clinic, which focuses on weight loss and eating disorders. This phytotherapy work is the result of more than two decades of accompanying patients, whether in a clinic using phytotherapics, in the classroom at universities teaching, on courses in various cities across the country and on plantations advising on how to harvest. He has always shown everyone that practice must be allied to research, and that the diversity of Brazilian herbal medicines requires a lot of study and constant updating. This work expresses the efforts to demonstrate this traditional, efficient therapy, which brings practical results for patients.
