PI and FLC based SHAF for the Mitigation of Current Harmonics
Details
Due to different loading conditions the power quality of the system is affected adversely and thus causes an enormous economic loss across the globe annually. Thus to counter this issue different control strategies such as Hysteresis and Adaptive Hysteresis band current controller based SHAF using PI and FLC are used to eliminate the system harmonics developed, evaluating their performance under different source voltage condition in MATLAB/SIMULINK. Main Objective is to extract the three phase reference current for SHAF and maintain constant DC link voltage. Section-I Introduction, deals with causes and problems of power quality. Section-II, Shunt Active Filter and its performance analysis using PI Controller. Section-III, Performance analysis of Shunt active filter using Type-1 FLC with Triangular MF. Section-IV, Adaptive Hysteresis based SHAF. Section-V. Conclusion and Future Scope.
