1957 in der Schweiz geboren. Nach der Ausbildung an der Schule für Diakonie in Greifensee/ZH, Arbeit als Sozialdiakon, Religionslehrer und Entwicklungshelfer in Papua Neu Guinea. Seit 1984 theologische Arbeiten und Reiseberichte zu Asien und Ozeanien veröffentlicht. Er lebt heute mit seiner Frau und den beiden erwachsenen Söhnen im Raum Bern.
