This book is basically based on the development of a low cost energy harvester. It focuses on the piezoelectric material to generate electricity which can be used for the low powered sensor and actuator. There are so many piezoelectric materials available naturally and artificially. Due to high piezoelectric coefficient, this book is focusing on man-made piezoelectric material. The design of piezoelectric energy harvester is using PSI 5H4E piezoelectric material because of its high coefficient. The beam has modeled using Euler-Bernoulli beam theory. Base excitation is used as a input source because of its universal availability in the form of engine vibration. The comparative analysis of harvester has also shown.

The author had completed Bachelor in Dental surgery, from Dr.Z.A.D.College,U.P,India and currently pursuing his masters in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.He has participated in many national conferences and has many articals in publications in national journals.The co-author is a renowned person in field of oral surgery in northern India.
