Pioglitazone-Metformin:Pioglitazone Effects on PPARG gene Variants
Details
This Phase IV Clinical Trial of Pioglitazone and Metformin and genetic analysis were ethically sound;approved by Bangladesh Medical Research Council and registered in WHO Public Registry following principles of Declaration of Helsinki as revised in 2000. We executed an integrated planning for attracting patients with an in-depth understanding of their needs; that s why our patients participated with tangible and emotional reasons of inspiration and they want more such type of trials in our country. Of course, our research team had loyalty and efficiency to run the trial and to establish SOPs that boost efficiency and guarantee accurate documentation. Phase IV studies are growing necessity and considered now as one of the best practices in Post Marketing Study Management for many of pharma companies. However, ethics and commercial interests should never be compromised. In this sense, this book may contribute to develop benchmarks for pharmaceutical industries and health professional researchers of clinical trials.
