Plant Physiology

This book has tremendous importance, especially for those who are first degree biology students and instructors as teaching aid. It will provide the students with learning opportunities that will enable them acquire knowledge and understanding on the physiological and biochemical functions of plants. Moreover, it is important to recognize that these functions depend on structures, whether the process is gas exchange in the leaf, water conduction in the xylem, and photosynthesis in the chloroplast. At end of each chapter, there are several questions that sum up the concepts of each part and related laburatory activities to be accomplished by students.

Misganaw Meragiaw Mollaw:Studied General Biology at Dilla University. He has been awarded his MSc in Plant Biology and Biodiversity Management, at Addis Ababa University in 2012. Now he is serving in the Aforementioned Department since 2012. He is also engaged in research activities and consultancy.
