Plastics in the use of materials

In the design phase, the plastic of the project is anticipated: the shape, materials, colours, dimensions, etc. The realization follows the design. It is the implementation of the ideas conceived in order to build an architectural work. The implementation of materials implies the passage from the idea to the concrete, broken down into several phases: the work of materials, on the building site as well as in the workshop, up to the finalization of the work.The same conception can lead to different plastic results. Indeed, many parameters influence the result, in particular the techniques and the tools used, the personal touch of the builder, the environment and the conditions of implementation like the organization of the building site, the climatic conditions, the budget, and other hazards (defects, defects,...).All these elements impact the architectural plastic. The changes can be minimal, of the order of detail (joints, junctions, colours, texture of materials, etc.), or major, modifying the architectural form.
