Police Nationale confronts urban banditry in Kinshasa Police Nationale

As part of this vital project, we examined the ineffectiveness of the DRC's national police force in the face of the rise of urban banditry in Kinshasa, commonly known as the kuluna phenomenon. Our aim was to take an in-depth look at this ever-growing criminal phenomenon in the city of Kinshasa on the one hand, and on the other, to examine the police actions taken in the past to curb this phenomenon. In the same vein, having completed this exercise, we proposed a new approach to combat this phenomenon, and our approach can be summed up in three things:1. Strengthening territorial and local units2. The creation of the municipal mobile squadron 3. Creation of an Anti-Gang BrigadeThis combination will enable the National Police to combat this phenomenon effectively.
