This book is the result of the master's dissertation produced by the author in 2017. It is an exploratory study that investigates the possibility of increasing political interaction and popular participation within the context of digital culture and cyberdemocracy. Aiming to verify how the interaction between government and citizens occurs through social media, this research performs an analysis of the fanpage of the Government of Alagoas on Facebook. Seeking to understand the new communicational process that is established with the recent technological tools, the methodology used here was content analysis of selected posts, developed from the theoretical conception of the author Bardin, and questionnaire application to interactors who access the government page.
