Political instability and Tourism Industry in North Cyprus

The main aim of the current study is to determine the extent of the ongoing political situation in Turkish Republic of North Cyprus (TRNC) and its effect on the tourism industry.This explanatory study examined the attitudes of modern-day Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cypriots towards each other and the current political situation in TRNC. Additionally, the study surveyed the inbound tourist's personal experiences with the Turkish Republic of North Cyprus.According to the results, there was a relation between political instability and the tourism industry of North Cyprus. The results emerging from the current study demonstrated that political instability does have a direct impact on the health of the TRNCs tourism industry.
