Political Participation of Azeri Ethnic Group in Iran since 1979

This book studies the theories related to political participation and ethnicity.Meanwhile,it also studies the poltiical participation of Azeris in Iran from year 1979 till 2011.Azeris,geographically,are scattered in different regions and provinces of Iran but their main residential area has been west and north west of Iran.At the time being,the provinces of Eastern Azerbaijan,Western Azerbaijan,Ardebil and Zanjan are the four Azeri provinces of Iran.On one hand ,social status of Azeris in the Iranian nation and on the other hand,the outstanding role of their politcal,intellectual,religious, scientific and cultural elites at the regional and national level,have caused their politcal participation from 1979 till 2011 to be of importance and therefore studied.

Dr. Esmael Baybordi has obtained PhD degree in Political Science in 2012.He has published several articles in the reputed international journals.He has published several books too.He has worked a university teacher.He is the chief manager of youth magazine,"20 Saleha" (youth 20 years of age).Co-author ,Jamileh Babamoradi is management graduate.
