Portable Heart Attack Monitoring System with Dedicated Optical Network

This publication presents an overview of the design process undertaken, as well as the project specifications in the design and implementation of a wearable heart attack monitoring device. The publication provides a theoretical section on the 2-Lead wireless ECG, algorithms for detecting changes in the ECG patterns related to heart attacks and the scope of the optical communication link involved in the project. The design is dissected into various models which are discussed individually.
