Post Colonial Politics in Achebe's Novels is a book that depicts the insight of Achebe's contempt toward European dictatorship on Nigerian culture and shows the intense influence of British tradition on the Igbo elite culture and its life.The book opens with, Chinua Achebe contracts with the problems of Nigeria after her independence in both the novels i.e.; No Longer at Ease and Anthills of the Savannah and he criticizes the Nigerian politicians and administrators because of their wrong policies and letting corruption spread in every field of life in Nigeria. To describe this ambiance in postcolonial Nigeria, Achebe also makes use of the symbols and images efficiently in order to demonstrate the extent of corruption in Nigeria. The book provides a wider exposure to the readers that how Negerians were brutally pushed into the world of corruption by loosing their identity in Igbo society.
