The universal energy predicament and the exhaustion of fossil fuel reserves necessitate the obligation for green and dependable sources of energy. Furthermore, transmission of electricity, which is tantamount to high costs and energy losses, resulted to the integration technology of distributed generator (DG) during the past decade to supplement centralized generation. DGs are sustainable solutions to provide electricity to customers at reliable and affordable prices. This book discusses the various 'mechanisms' that embodied the use of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) for distributed generation. It covers Renewable Energy (RE) base DG technologies, and Energy Storage System respectively, which are basic constituent of RE base Distribute Generation (DG) system. To ascertain the current trend of Renewable Energy, two chapters were dedicated to the analysis of global and Nigeria statistics, and the possibility of Net Zero Scenario of carbon emission. The concept of DG was extensively 'covered' in this book, as well the Optimizations techniques use in DG system.

Autorentext
The author holds a B.Eng in Electronic Engineering, an M.Eng in Machine Design and Mechatronics, and a senior course in Electric Engineering and Automation. Currently, is pursuing a PhD in Electric Power and Machines, works at a transmission substation and is a researcher with the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure, Nigeria.
