Poverty and hunger are widespread and a major challenge for economists worldwide. In this book, it has been shown why the previous efforts in this regard have failed. Focus on only one aspect could not give desirable effects and a holistic approach must be adopted to fight destitution. The study showed that both agriculture and non-agriculture sector played a vital but different role in the fight against poverty and hunger.
