Power/Rate Control in CDMA Based Cognitive Radio Network

This is a work intended to illustrate a power/rate control and effect of multiple access interference on Cognitive Radio Network. Since one of the major challenges in design of future wireless networks is to find suitable spectrum bands, Cognitive Radio has become a solution. This feature should be used without hampering the signal transmission of the licensed user and power/rate control can be an efficient technique regarding this issue. Basic concept of Cognitive Radio along with a power/rate control feature is tried to describe in this book.
