His father, a producer, late Sri U Suryanarayana Raju and mother is Siva Kumari. He is one of three children. His brother is Prabodh and sister is Pragathi. His friends and likes address him as Darling.Prabhas is considered to be the most handsome hero in tollywood among contemporary heroes.He is called Young Rebel star in the industry. He did a formal acting course at Vizag. Prabhas started his movie career with Eshwar in 2002 about a poor boy falling in love with a rich girl. In 2003, he was seen as the lead in Raghavendra. Both did not do well at the box office.
