Practical Applications of Speech Signals

This book gives an insight of basics of speech signals, different speech recognition techniques. speech coding techniques and different feature extraction and matching algorithms are also discussed. Two important applications like Email by voice and Human Computer interaction are explained in detail. The implementation of the algorithm is also explained briefly. The brief description of the tools used for developing the software is also discussed.

Dr. Suma Swamy is currently working as Professor, Department of CSE, Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology, Bengaluru. She is guiding 6 research scholars under VTU and one research scholar is awarded Ph.D degree.She has 32 years of experience in teaching.She has published 2 patents.She is BOE member of CS/IS Board, VTU Belagavi.
