The book comprises of three chapters. The first chapter, On the Role of instructional technology to develop material and hands-on-practices to integrate computer technology, consists of three sections. The description of technology use in Turkey is provided in the first section. The role of instructional technology in learning theories is the focus of the second section. The development of instructional material via computer technology is described in the third section. The second chapter, Application of Computers and Literature in English Language Teaching, discusses the uses of computer and literature resources in English language teaching using the methods such as Brainstorming', Mind Map', Six Thinking Hats', Storyboarding' and Metaphoric Thinking'. The third chapter, Internet Materials for English Language Classrooms: Videos, animations, social bookmarking and wiki pages, provides hands-on-practices to how to retrieve animations and videos, discusses social bookmarking and ways to combine these resources into wiki pages.
