Pre Colonial East Africa

This book is specifically written for the course history of East Africa. It provides students with the clear scene of the pre colonial era and guidelines to the understanding of three basic regions of East Africa namely Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda prior to the coonial episody. Topics like peopling, state formation and the commercial contacts between East Africans and the people of the outside world are covered herein to provide a modern view of the region.
