PRE EVALUATION OF IMPLANT SITES BY DENTASCANS

Dental implants have gain immense popularity as they form the conservative method of replacing teeth thereby restoring functions of the stomagnathic system,propioception and asthetics. Conventional radiography used in pre implant site evaluation loses the battle for the lack of perception in the third dimension. This hurdle is overcome by the post processing imaging software like Dentascans. Dentascans readily meets the pre-prosthetic imaging objectives of implant placement like,quantity & quality of bone,bone topography,proximity to critical anatomical structures.This book highlights the innumerable advantages this software can provide to the implantologist without being present at the scan workstation.
