Over years teacher education programmes' relevancy to social needs is questioned in the Indian context. Quantitative increase in output never ensured the fulfillment of qualitative requirements of the society. Over and again policy documents, commissions and committees highlighted this point as hampering the achievement of developmental goals to the required level. To withstand the needs of internationalization and globalization strengthening of teacher education at teacher educator training programme level is the point of focus. Being the teacher of teachers the development of teacher educator to the requirements of changing contextual needs is of utmost important. This book highlighted the need for a centralized admission procedure where candidate's quality is decided on predictivity of some selected variables of concern.

Dr. R. L. Madhavi is a holder of research degree in Education and has over five years of teaching experience in Education and over twenty research papers. Prof. D. R. Goel is serving as professor of Education at M. S. U Baroda, Gujarat and the coordinator of UGC SAP at CASE. He is the chairperson of WRC of NCTE, Bhopal.
