Preparation and Characterization of Novel Biodegradable Nanocomposite

During the last decades, dealing with the increasing amounts of industrial non-biodegradable disposals polluting the environment has emerged as one the major concerns of researchers, as well as ordinary public associations. Since, biodegradable polymers produced from nontoxic materials, become increasingly noticed as replacements of conventional non biodegradable petroleum-based plastics. This book, therefore, provides a new class of environmentally friendly biodegrabale nanocomposites of polycaprolactone-chitosan-layered silicate with enhancement in mechanical and thermal properties.

Sanaz Abdolmohammadi has obtained her Master of Science in Polymer Chemistry at University Putra Malaysia (UPM) in 2011.Since then she has worked in different projects in the field of Polymer, Material science and Nanoscience. She is the author of several articles published in ISI journals and a member of editorial board of some journals.
