Bio polymers such as proteins (for example hair, skin and part of the bone structure) and nucleic acids play crucial roles in biological processes.Historical development of polymers started in 1811.both synthetic and natural polymers play an essential and ubiquitous role in everyday life.Polymers are studied in the fields of biophysics and macro molecular science, and polymer science.
