This book is a thesis that is based on the types of Anesthesia involved during the surgical purpose. This book concentrates on two main anesthesias SPINAL and EPIDURAL Anesthesia which is the most commonly used type of anesthesia in today s modern surgical field. What does Anesthesia man?, What is the role of an Anesthetist ? Why do we go for Anesthesia?. Anesthesia controls pain during surgery or other medical procedures. It includes using medicines, and sometimes close monitoring, to keep you comfortable. It can also help control breathing, blood pressure, blood flow, and heart rate and rhythm, when needed.An anesthesiologist or a nurse anesthetist takes charge of your comfort and safety during surgery.. It is a pharmacologically induced and reversible state of amnesia, analgesia, loss of responsiveness, loss of skeletal muscle reflexes or decreased stress response.
