Privacy Preserving Data Mining Algorithms

The greatest contribution to researchers, who are working on Privacy preservation issues in data mining. The author explores various privacy issues while performing data mining on large databases. Motivated by the privacy issues related to data mining operations in various domains, this work focuses on PPDM algorithms. Privacy issues have thrown up new challenges and demand for enhanced data mining technology that can protect privacy of sensitive data and extract novel data mining patterns without violating privacy of an individual. This book presents different types of privacy preservation data mining algorithms and its utilization in real life.

Dr.P.Kamakshi is presently working as Professor in the Dept. of Information Technology at KITS Warangal She graduated in ECE from JNTU Hyderabad. She completed AMIE in Computer Science.She completed M.Tech. in CSE and Ph.D. from JNTU Hyderabad. Her research interests are Data mining, cryptography, Privacy preservation in data mining.
