Dr. Cabanda is Associate Professor in the School of Global Leadership and Entrepreneurship at Regent University,Virginia, USA. She held visiting faculty positions at Yokohama National University and International Christian University in Japan. Dr. Cabanda has also taught at the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines.
