Probiotics: An Effective Accelerator for Calcium Absorption

Nutrients are important for the growth and healthy operation of the human body. Nutrient bioavailability is more of a concern than whether there is an adequate quantity of nutrients in the diet. A dairy product that contains probiotics also offers a variety of important minerals, such as calcium and protein. The creation of bone and teeth, as well as the control of enzymes and many other processes, are just a few of the functions that calcium, one of the essential minerals, plays in the human body. Around 99% of calcium is contained in teeth and bones, making it the most important vitamin. Many studies have revealed that in some populations, consuming a proper quantity of calcium lowers the risk of fracture, osteoporosis, hypoglycemia, and diabetes. The present study provides information regarding the relationship between probiotics and calcium, providing enhanced bioavailability of calcium and promising improved bone health. Several studies have revealed that probiotics have a key role in improving calcium uptake and absorption. Probiotics play a substantial impact in calcium absorption and, consequently, bioavailability, according to the review study in this area.
