Problem-based learning in pathophysiology teaching

The emergence of new learning methods represents one of the innovations of the twentieth century, enabling the development of knowledge and science in various disciplines.Indeed, psychologists and pedagogues have never ceased to question the techniques and methods to be applied to develop human skills in the acquisition of new knowledge. This question has been of interest to all societies, over the course of time, in all parts of the world, and at all levels of education (primary, secondary, higher).The university's mission is twofold: the development of knowledge and the higher education of citizens1.Pedagogy has seen the development of several models, from the transmissive to the SOCIO-CONSTRUCTIVE, making the learner interact not only with the teacher but also with the student body.
