In the challenging and high competitive world, companies must operate effectively and productively to grow sustainablity and achieve more profit. And product development process is one of the most important process in the company when it creates competitive strengths and generate profits to the company. Business Process Management is one of the most famous method to improve business performance with many proved success stories. In this book the fundamentals of Business Process Management is presented, then the methodology of process optimization is studied with two different approaches (revolution and evolution). Following is the optimization method that has been used in the thesis including comparison with other methods. The process optimization practice at a manufacturing company of export products is followed and represented aforementioned theories. This includes process modeling, process analysis and the design of target process, and ends with recommendations of implementing target process. Throughout this book the application of Business Process Management in the actual business environment is shown and acts as a case for further practice and research in the future.
