Details

This book is inspired by the gloomy scenario in which the reality of men's health care in the context of Primary Health Care pervaded, ranging from the invisibility of men within these health services, through the macho ideology that surrounds the social context, to the neglect of men themselves in health care. With the implementation of the National Policy for Comprehensive Attention to Men's Health, hope for a change in this reality has risen, and thus the need to investigate the impact of this policy on the daily practice of health professionals and on meeting the health needs of the male population. To this end, there is nothing better than following the real-life experience of a user in search of his right and the fulfilment of his health needs.
