Geared Hydro-Power Private Limited (GHPL) has been serving a wide spectrum of Indian hydraulic industries for the past decade and a half. With a strong presence in the domestic market, GHPL has now moved on to compete in the International market in line with its vision to move ahead with continual improvement in its product quality maintaining its highly competitive pricing. In this context the company has been made to realize that they can increase their productivity, with the help of Kanban and VSM and the entire analysis has been carried out in this dissertation work. The current sate data has been collected and have been critically analyzed using Software like E-Draw and web tools like MAPAL Inc. to reach at the point of solution. The dissertation work here has been limited to only major 4 parts of 206 series pump assembly out of several products in the company and has not concentrated on all of the products.
