The book is dedicated to the review of research by the first woman habilitated doctor of technical sciences in Lithuania. Also review of research in the field of vibroengineering in Lithuania is presented. Professor Vyda Kesgailai -Ragulskien is the first woman habilitated doctor of technical sciences in Lithuania. She is the first woman professor of technical sciences in Lithuania. She is the first woman awarded a State prize in technical sciences in Lithuania. Her achievements were described in a book by Professor Ona Voverien about the most prominent scientists of Lithuania of the XX century.
