Profiles of acoustic bass students at the BSB music school

This work is based on the profiles found in students of popular acoustic bass and classical acoustic bass, with the aim of understanding these different profiles by looking at the musical experience of students at the music school in Brasilia. From this research we can see that musicians from both areas have had a similar musical experience. To reach this conclusion, the work used a questionnaire about what the student listens to on a daily basis.

Herbert Freitas, nato a Brasilia, ha studiato basso acustico popolare presso la Scuola di Musica di Brasilia con i professori Mestre Paulo Dantas e Adonias Alcântara. Ha partecipato al CIVEBRA con i contrabbassisti acustici Zeca Assunção e Tony Botelho. Studia musica all'Università di Brasilia (UNB). Attualmente sta studiando per conseguire la laurea triennale presso l'Unb.
