The ultimate goal of construction is to complete the project on time and within budget. There is consistently a track off among time and cost. Time loss is expensive and efficient can give advantages to all the parties associated with the projects. Time & Cost optimization is fundamental for construction projects. The goal of time and cost optimization is to decide the ideal optimum project duration relating to the minimum total cost. This is refined by shortening the time of critical activities in order to reduce the entire project duration. An ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) is coordinated software including all the functional departments of the enterprise. ERP is simply software but difference is in the extent of utilization zone. Generally, it should discover modules like finance, accounts, purchase, sales, marketing, planning, execution, human resource & contracting in an ERP.
