Project Management Practices in the Ghanaian Building Industry

Project management is a worldwide discipline and in recent times has become a topical issue in diverse of literature, leading to more research in that perspective. However, it appears that there is lack of consensus among stakeholders on the practices in the Ghanaian Building Industry(GBI). This book therefore, establishes the understanding of the status of professional project management practices in the GBI. The book laid emphasis on the constraints to the development of project management practices and presented strategies for effective project management in the GBI. PROFESSIONAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT PRACTICES HAS TO COME STAY AND THEREFORE, DEVELOPING COUNTRIES SUCH AS GHANA NEED TO ASSENT TO IT FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THEIR SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT.
