Projecting the Military Diplomacy of Ghana

Military diplomacy is crucial to the coexistence of nation states in the wake of shared threats of terrorism, money laundering, arms dealing and other transnational crimes. Military diplomacy is maintained by the constant interactions of military officers from different countries, who easily bond irrespective of their origin due to the unique military value system. This research provides an overview of Military Diplomacy in Ghana in the context of theories and concepts of defence, military diplomacy and joint training. The research discusses the role of the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC) in projecting military diplomacy by engaging in exchange training programmes with sister African countries.
