Proportion and Associated Factors of Maternal Near Misses

Near misses the neglected case but remains the secret to meet the Sustainable Development Goal 3 in Developing Country Near misses refer to a woman who nearly died but survived complications that occurred during pregnancy, childbirth or within 42 days of termination of pregnancy. Majority of Maternal deaths and Disabilities due to Pregnancy occur in developing countries, this burden motivated world leaders to formulate the millennium declaration so that in September 2010, the United Nations Secretary-General launched the Global Strategy for Women's and Children's Health calling for concrete actions towards the improvement of health of women and children around the world. The provision of quality care during childbirth is believed to make a difference between Life and death or Life long disability for millions of women during childbirth.
