Prose & Style

Prose & Style - comprises 10 study units subdivided into three modules. The materials have been developed to introduce the students to prose which is a genre of literature. This course guide gives you an overview of the course and also provides you with information on the organization and requirements of the course. The course introduces you to the origin, development and the major elements of prose. Some representative texts have been analysed to highlight some of the characteristics of prose (fiction & non-fiction). The texts were also chosen to reflect the different types of prose.

Dr. Vamcydher Kilari, Assistant Professor of English Literature, worked for UNDP for designing the course curriculum at Hawassa University, Ethiopia. He designed and taught courses in literature at Benghazi University, Libya. Presently, he is connected with Jazan University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and using blended method for teaching literature.
