Prospective planning

Prospective planning is considered a very important tool when developing a study, because it contemplates the idealization of future scenarios taking into account the different variables that could affect the research, bringing changes in the initial conditions, thus allowing to present different answers that allow to establish pertinent strategies, so that the changes that are foreseen will occur, or influence the future so that they occur, establishing a future where the proposed objectives are achieved. In this sense, prospective planning is considered a valuable tool for public universities, because it allows them to make a more efficient use of the economic resources invested in science, technology and innovation management processes, through the different indicators presented by the dimensions of the prospective planning variable.
