Protection of Biopharmaceutical Products in Colombia

Colombia is the fifth largest pharmaceutical market in Latin America, but the local industry is mainly represented by generic producers. This makes it an interesting environment for new therapeutic options as biopharmaceuticals. From patents to marketing authorization legislation, passing through unfair competition claims this work analysis the situation of the protection of biopharmaceuticals in the Colombian Context.
