Protection of Mental Health of Children and Adolescents

This book is the result of an all-encompassing scientific approach combining theory of various fields of study. Each of the twenty chapters detail the achievements of the various distinguished experts in their respective fields. The information provided shows how the authors explore subjects dealing with one of the most significant concerns of society and healthcare - issues related to the mental health of children and adolescents - by connecting clinical, research and public health approaches. They do so without neglecting the subset of the population that requires a special approach due to developmental or other impairments. Also described are direct results, processes and outcomes of evaluations as well as external assessments of public health projects that advocate preventive action in the field of mental health of children and adolescents. The editor and other authors presented their theoretical and practical research on the mental health of children and adolescents. The book was written in 2016 and serves as an excellent model of interdisciplinary cooperation.
