PROTOCOL FOR MEASURING, MONITORING AND SUSTAINABLE MANAGEMENT OF CARBON STOCKS IN TROPICAL FORESTS

The present work entitled "Protocol for the measurement, monitoring and sustainable management of carbon stocks in tropical forests: the case of Cameroon in the Congo Basin. GUIDE METHODOLOGIQUE" is a condensed version of six chapters that briefly presents the Cameroonian forest in the Congo Basin before delving into the methodology of measurement, monitoring and sustainable management of carbon stocks in tropical forests. In fact, this methodological guide, synthesized from studies conducted by its author in Cameroonian forests and other researchers around the world, makes a significant contribution to the multitude of existing methodologies in order to facilitate the appropriation by researchers and students of methods for estimating carbon stocks in forest systems.
