Psychological aspects of healthcare management

Healthcare is a complex system which includes management, financing activities and provision of health services to the population. Health systems in the world are objects of constant development and change, which raises the requirements for management of health organizations. Organizational culture, behaviour and competence are particularly important in the public demand of professionals with a wide range of skills and abilities. General characteristics of management and management psychology are explored in the book, but the emphasis is made on their specificities in the work of medical specialists. The tasks of healthcare managers include managing and organizing the staff, taking an active part in health policy conducting health reforms, etc., which requires knowledge in many spheres - management, economy, psychology, etc.
