Pterospermum acerifolium

Pterospermum acerifolium belonging to the family of Sterculiaceae has been studied. The work was carried out for isolation of it s secondary metabolites and evaluation of biological activities of it s bark with special emphasis on antioxidant activity, cytotoxicity, and antimicrobial activity The isolated compounds were identified by extensive analyses of their high resolution proton-NMR spectroscopic data.
